Chauvet CLP-05 vertically?

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry in advance if it's a stupid question, it's just that I really need to be 100% sure about it šŸ˜…

I used Chauvet CLP-05 vertically.

On the official website, it says "Load capacity (vertical direction): 168 lb (76 kg)".

I installed a Source Four on a pole, vertically (see pictures).

Can you please confirm that it's "kosher" and I didn't miss anything (security cables are on of course)? šŸ˜…

Thank you so much!! ā¤ļø

So the way you have the fixtures is not what they mean for ā€œvertical useā€. BUT, I can tell you that thousands of units are hung as you did with the same style clamp with very few failures, and you have safeties on the fixtures, so even if the clamp did fail the fixture wonā€™t fall. I wouldnā€™t worry about it to much.

Should you want a better solution, you could swap the clamp the the style on the fixtures above.
