How to make Coca-Cola (must be practical)

The title gives all the details. The coke will be in a classic glass bottle. We've tried powdered tea, but it was obviously too sugary and not the right color. Any help appreciated!

I'd probably just use real cola myself, but I would think that most any loose-leaf black tea would get you close, maybe with some red and green food coloring added. If not that, maybe coffee?

Um, unsweet tea? Maybe add some food coloring if it needs to be darker.

Thats what I would do, unless there was some dietary reason that the actor couldn't drink real coke.
