I'm here in kent oh I'm actually more interested in robotic puppets and specialty props than lighting......however I am a td/scenic designer at a local college and have to deal with lighting problems.

And you've chosen a very good place IMHO to glean info from those that work there everyday. Please feel free to post a few pictures of your 'creations' if/when you get the chance.
