I need a steel bush

.... to do Moses and the burning bush. The burning is no problem for me as I've done propane torches that work well. What I need is a bush maybe 3 feet tall and 2 or 3 feet in diameter that I can put my torch head in. I know I can cut leaves from steel sheet and weld them onto stems, but that seems like a lot of work. Does anybody have a suggestion?

You aren't actively serious are you ?

Yeah, this seems both overly dangerous, and overly literal in the wrong ways...

I'd suspect some fabric, fans, smoke effects and a regular ol' fake bush would work just fine, off the top of my head.

Where is this thing; burning man?

Actually, I am serious about this. Being outside, I have a lot of room to keep the actors and audience away from fire, but I do want them to feel heat in December.

For example, this is the gate into Bethlehem. The 2nd floor guard is actually about 10 feet away from the torch flame and he says it feels really good up there.

Yes, a burning bush is literal, but that is exactly the effect I want. Doing the fire part of it safely is easy.
