"Ideal Theater" competition

USITT is hosting a competition for students to design their ideal theater for a university setting.

The Architectural and Theatre Students "Ideal Theatre" Design Competition requires teamwork. Theatre students serve the role of “the Client” and architectural students function as “the Designer” to create their university’s “Ideal Theatre.” Teams can be part of a class or be independent students.

Applications are due December 7, 2012
Competition documents due January 4, 2013

I know we have had discussions of this sort on this site before, so I am sure that an industrious team would have a good head start.

It looks like I'll be leading a team from the University of Oregon for this competition. It looks like a lot of fun!

There are a few features of the theater I've been working in this summer that I might try to incorporate.

I think it would be great if a team who had CB members won the competition. We had hopes for the ETC contest a few months back. Make us proud!
