I'm new :)

Hi everyone!
I am a high school theater nerd. I work on running crew and plan on learning lighting and sound. I love to organize things, and have been the unofficial techie team leader on two occasions, and have already talked to our TD about being the official one when the current official can't do it. I don't expect to go into a career of theater tech--I have other interests too--but I think it would be fun to do on the side. I am interested in learning as much as I can about the subject. That's why I've joined--to learn!
How's that for an introductory post?

Well welcome. I was kinda like you in high school theatre... except i was always the leader. Its great that you want to learn, and the best and easiest way is to keep your mind open, and you eyes and ears trained on what your learning. Put your heart into it and you will get every bit and more back!
