Has anyone else started to become wary of Philips, as they acquire more and more companies? So far, a Wikipedia entry is the closest list I can find as to what they possess, but especially in the lighting industry they're starting to create an overwhelming presence, holding Genlyte, which holds Strand, as well as Color Kinetics, Lumileds, plus the manufacturing of lamps they already take care of. That doesn't even touch their other sectors besides lighting. Philips - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I want to raise the question to people, should we be worried about this, or will this better the industry? We almost have to assume as more time goes by, more trademarks they will acquire.
