Lightjockey ii key hack

Am in a small performing arts org and had a Lightjockey ii and key donated to us , tried to download all the stuff and make the thing work to no avail. Donor bought on ebay and couldn't get help from seller and decided to see if we could get it to work. Left message with elation so will see how that works. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

LightJockey is/was a Martin product. I have a LightJockey 1 that does not need a key. The down side of the LightJockey is that it only worked with the Martin Software.

I have the disc, key and dmx usb box, no manual, etc. when I tried to install by internet manual, still nothing. Is there another controller program or controller I could use that would interface with the dmx box ? I'll try anything almost once thanks again

Are you using the official software? You may need to put in a call to Martin or use their suport forum. The support forum is pretty good.

Can you send a picture of the box? Most of the light jockey boxes will word work M-PC (now Onyx) software without a key.

Thanks for the info, sent a text to elation moons ago, got this thing after Martin sold lightjockey to Elation and couldn't get support from Martin, said go to Elation, no reply from elation, sent another yesterday, haven't heard back yet, the obsidian link showed good stuff and some possibilies, anyhow the model of the interface is 90702070, with 2 5-pin ports thanks again, this thing still might work out I usually do sound and this gives me a head ache

Are you just having an issue getting DMX out or the program to work or the dongle authing the software?
