Mind blank! What's it called on a mic?

This may not apply so much to theatrical sound but I know someone will know what I'm talking about...What's the cube piece called on a handheld mic that usually says the news channel on it?

I've seen/ heard them called both Flags or Skins, flag being the most common. (I think skin might have just been what this particular guy i worked with called them )
