I’ve got 1 pair of JBL Control 5’s in the air, semi-permanently mounted in the theatre.
I have a 2nd pair, which will need to be similarly mounted, but we don’t have the 3rd & 4th appropriate ball-mount. I can’t seem to find the model number of the specific mount, nor any generic one that might work. I’d prefer a more yoke-ish mount so I can put a c-clamp on it.
Does anyone know: A) the JBL part number for any appropriate mount of any type?
B) where i might find a suitable replacement, or one that I can tweak to fit?
Has anyone modified some other mount or yoke for safely rigging a Control 5 over an audience?
I could manufacture something with the help of the shop, but I’d rather use something off the shelf . . . if I can find a shelf that has it...
