Necessity to apply humidity creator machine

Anyone tell me if I can use dehumidifier or humidity creator machine for the auditorium. Regarding some of my reading, humidity will affect the sound. Good humidity will have a better sound in the auditorium. And other better effect of good humidity like better feeling. Of course I have to use air conditioning in this situation.
