Working on some 6" fresnels... Suppose they are Major in always thought Hub was the ancient texture gray of Altman. I assumed Hub had by the 60's taken over Major already. And Hub was the one buying out old die castings - perhaps they were - into the 70's and before -there is clearly old designs other fixture and castings sold by Hub.. Major as a new thought was making their own perhaps such as the Fresnels, but also buying up in this case say discontinued or current Century early 70' fixtures from the factory and just changing the yoke knob.

Interesting website. https://vintagetheatrecatalogs.blogspot.com/2016/01/major-equipment-company-1919-1922-1931.html

That with this article https://www.controlbooth.com/threads/major-equipment-company.28831/ very interesting in totally throwing off my timeline for when the last upgrade to the theater was..

Research is fun in learning new stuff.

Other supportive photos of Century Leko's with Major knobs, and two 8" Leko's.... one huge Major - largest I now own, the other I think Century but yet to work on.
