Hi, I'm the theater manager of a brand new high school performing arts center. I have worked for the school distrct for eight years and was offered this position because of the AV work I have done. This is a part time position at the moment but I hope to make it a full time one sometime in the future.
It's a 5 million dollar facility that is also a Fema storm shelter (we are just 30 miles south of Joplin). It officially opened in May and we have just finished our first production with a three night run of High School Musical Jr.
I'm here to learn so I can pass the information to the high school students who help me run the booth and back stage.
