1. Lighting. Term used meaning nothing at all in the color frame of a fixture. Often abbreviated NC, N/C, or OW (for Open White) on plots and lighting paperwork, as leaving that area blank might indicate the decision has not been made, or the designer made an error in not specifying.

2. Also used as an adjective meaning "pale," as in No Color Pink (Roscolux #33), No Color Blue (Roscolux #60).
