For a commercial shoot I need plated breakfasts and dinners that won't be eaten, as props. Right now I'm just planning on making it or buying pre-cooked and refrigerating it. But I wonder if there are any little industry secrets to making food look good on screen.
Cooking spray, make it look shiny but not fake. It is an art in itself.
And breakfast like eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits n gravy, and the list goes on.
Dinner the same concept.
IF you make it, you should shalack it and see how that works to perserve it. Pre-made just sounds boring and it will look boring. You can't spice up a store bought premade egg.
