Looking for some "good" on-line lighting courses...am fairly new to the lighting world and am always looking to "learn" more. Any ideas or websites would be greatly appreciated.

This has been the closest I have ever been able to find for an online course for stage lighting.
These guys can answer just about any question you can ask.

I also like to read http://livedesignonline.com/ and other random places on the internet.

I also use http://www.schorsch.com/kbase/glossary/ and http://www.theatrecrafts.com/glossary/glossary.shtml to understand what they are saying, and learn other big words to show off to other techs. :)

Wikipedia doesn't have too much information on it yet. There are some efforts to improve it, but nothing has actually happened there for a while.

If you have ETC lights, http://www.etcconnect.com/minisite/sourcefour/index.html has some simple information that could also apply to other light fixtures.

I also read some good books at the library. Scene Design and Stage Lighting by Orson Welles is good. (only one I can remember right now)

But, I have never heard of an online class. If you ever find one, I'de like to know too. :)
