The Director od the Ontario ministry of Labour wrote to all Ontario City Clerks on June 19th to advise them of the new expectations, in turn they are contacting the companies and organisations who provide these events. The link provides the letter.

Noteworthy are the clear design requirements and the breadth of the structure covered including "Pre-engineered multi-use units such as a fabric tents" and the requirement for all design and subsequent design changes to be documented in drawings approved by a Professional Engineer. Note also the inspection requirements and the written emergency plan requirements.
