I did a search for this but didn't find any threads...
I've got a few lamps with white zip cord that need to go green (awful color choice, but the designer doesn't want the white cord). I know spray paint will make the cord sticky for decades, but will a brush on latex or acrylic paint adhere to the wire without the sticky mess? Any other solutions besides paint? Will it take a dye of some kind? Also I'd rather not have to special order some green cord...
