Hi, I have got an American DJ Fog Storm 1200 that utilizes a 5-pin communications cable. I've got an Elation Stage Setter 16 that happens to be compatible with it, and I also have the remote that came with it.
Both the remote and the DMX controller seem to interface with the fog machine in the same way, and apparently some other brands use this same protocol:
1) Hold down the button to make fog
2) Remote's Green Light is on if fog is ready to use
3) Remote's Red Light is off if fog is not ready to use
Anyway, I am building an Arduino-based DMX controller and was curious if anybody knew the protocol for the 5-pin connector, or better yet if anyone could link to technical documentation on the matter.
