Yes, both ways are valid, for the reason [user]derekleffew[/user] points out: 120√3 = ~208. You are each accounting for the 120deg phase difference at a different point in your calculations. Personally, I like [user]jonslilbro[/user]'s method because then you get your kVA right there if you need a genny.
