    1. Lighting. A static lighting state. See http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/glossary/6893-preset-style.html.
    2. Lighting. If no main curtain is used, the lighting cue prior to the show and at intermission is called the "preset" or sometimes "House Preset."
    3. Props/Stage Management. Anything that is placed for convenience prior to its need. "Preset the drinking glasses on the SL prop table."
    4. Stage crew. Prior to performance preparations. "I've done all my presets, may I go to dinner now, Ms. Stage Manager?"
