1. Common slang for "cue", it is used to describe an event that is the signal for another to occur. (E.g. the house lights dimming is a cue for the overture to start). It can be used in the context of a list of cues, one after the other, e.g. in lighting; there will be a lighting state for each cue. It can also be used as a verb; to cue - to signal to somebody else to start (to cue an actor, to cue the tabs operator).

3. Audio: refers to the width of frequency range surrounding the center frequency of a parametric EQ.
