Rigging deadhung pipe to structure.

What is the consensus on method of hanging a deadhung pipe from structure steel?

Current method.... proof coil grade 30 chain basket over I beam.(CARPET PADDEING OVER BEAM)
Rated shackle to trim chain.
Trim chain to schedule 40 batten.
1.5 wrap back to trim chain.
Term w/ rated shackle.
