on my schools lighting board when we first turn it on all the sliders and bump keys dont work. but after a few hours they will gradually increase transmission and the light will get brighter. in order for me to use the board i have to manually punch in the dimmer number and use our wheel to turn them up... does anyone kno whats wrong with it???? I have a homecoming variety show soon and nobody can fix it

What type of console?

If you put the sliders for some lights at full when you turn the console on what do the lights do immediately? Do they fade up over hours, or suddenly come up to full?

Have you contacted the manufacturers tech support?

If it's a Strand 300, see this thread: http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/lighting/15074-strand-300-help-slow-response.html. If it's another make/model, it might be something similar. Tell us what you've got, so we can be of more assistance.

If possible take a pic of the board if you cant id it. This could be caused by a varity of reasone including shorts, setup, power ect... With out more info I cant give a eduacated guess.
