A Technical Rehearsal, a Ten-out-of-twelve is a term originated in Equity houses describing a special type of Tech where the Actors are called for 12 hours. With two one hour or one two hour meal break this means the actors are working 10 out of 12 hours for the day (minus other shorter breaks required by contract or policy). Most Equity contracts limit Technical Rhearsal calls for Actors to five hours.
Ten-out-of-twelves usually translate to Twelve-out-of-Fourteen's for most technicians.
