Understanding DMX MC 24 48

I have the MC 24 48 from NSI. I have a DMX Universe on Port C. Is it normal that I see conventional channels in the 300's turn on when I turn on anautomated device?

Probably not./? Im not familiar with that particular board, where do you have you automated fixtures patched, where are you dimmers addressed? Are the conventional fixtures comming up at the same time as you moving lights? or are you just seeing in on the board?
