Video Content thru Hog 4

I am doing some research into the possibility of using a Hog4 in conjunction with a media server. The goal is for the media server to drive an array of LED panels, and also send color information to our lighting rig (a handful of movers and LEDs). Is this possible? What is the best method of doing it?

Hmm,
Sure its possible, But configuration is going to be very dependent upon your setup.

I think you should start by reading the manual for whatever media server you purchase. They almost all will output art net to LED fixtures in a mix. You can then lay them out, and play video over them as necessary.

And the hog is also very straight forward. Patch the media server to a DMX, art net, or Sacn output, and run video layers as needed.

That being said, if this sounds like greek to you, you probably should find some help with your setup. Perhaps from whomever you purchase your media server from.
