Vintage Lighting What is it? EC scoop

Found this on eBay and have no idea what it is! My first thought is that it is a beam projector, but it isn't built quite like other beam projectors I've seen.

It looks like an EC scoop.

Yep that's an OLD scoop. We used to use them as Work lights. Nice asbestos wires.

The datasheet above is for a slightly later model, as it uses a smaller tilt lock knob than the one on eBay. The black, green, and white asbestos leads are a great indication of EC, as I think everyone else used all white tails. Interesting that it uses a medium two-pin socket for FEL family? lamp.

Cool, thanks for the responses! I was wondering about the colored asbestos leads, I've never seen that before.

My high school had two of these. Focusing scoops are very underrated. Our's weren't two pin, as they had their asbestos wires with medium pre focus sockets.

This fixture also has a medium prefocus socket. I didn't post all of the pictures of the fixture. Search "vintage can stage light" without the quotes for the rest of the pictures. I didn't know if I should link the listing here since linking to eBay auctions is generally frowned upon.
