Got in this Fresnel recently.
National Instrument Company, National Photospot Model V-31, 4.1/4" Fresnel c. 1950's; 500w/115v (CZX/DAB?), P-28s Med. Prefocus lamp. (Huston Texas) on stand/swivel mech.
The lens has easy removal spring clips on both top and bottom though only really bottom extracts from the lower clip where there is a rear of lens spring extractor also. Top lens retaining screw knob only chipped the the lens as a further retainer. I believe this light wasto have multiple lens options.
Large lever knobs also with the lens extraction springs - counter productive for it's use. Not a stage light but in research on it, something in discontinued brand I have not found info on what it's for. This other than decorative purposes or perhaps something scientific.
Obviously I worked on it some in for the most part being a nice condition fixture. Stuff like asbestos abatement, bushing the wiring hole, replacement wiring and grounding. Has a cord mounted switch also.
