Strand CD80 AE processor

Is there any difference between the black and gray dimmer processor modules in the cd80 AE racks? I was wondering if they were interchangable.

No differnece, just a metal color change. They are interchangeable as long as you don't mind the different look.

You should see the poor rack it has black and gray dimmer modules and now black and gray processors. All I need to find now is a powersupply and I will have a fully functioning rack for my Christmas lights
Humm..... What can I do with 96 channels of dimming on the house...

Is the power supply missing or just broken? Century lighting (as well as others) can repair them, but I dont know of anyone that has extra to sell.
Combine 96 channels of dimming with some dmx controlled fixtures and you will have a pretty good holiday display.

We also fix them over here at Emlight but anyway...I was going thru my storage room (tripping over dimmers and stuff actually) and I found about 4 or 5 AE card cages. Don't know if the power supplies are functional (or even present) but drop me a line if you are interested and I'll see about having one dragged out and put on our test card cage.
