Has anyone ever used this console?
SGM Studio 12 Scan Control Light console
I have a deal on one but i havnt heard of this company.
This board would have to control:
2 Intimidator Spots 150
2 Accu Spots (eventually we might get 2 more)
We also have 16 LED Pars but i have another...
There is a black switch on the back of the desk, not the power but another switch. if you flick it the other way if should work.
I had the same problem with that same board with LED pars, and all it took was that switch on the back.

1st universe goes to the house (installed) dimmer rack.
2nd Universe goes to the newly added extra dimmer rack for our penthouse lights. (Sensor CEM Portable)
I will defiantly try plugging a scanner into a light and see what happens.

i have not worked with a Leprecon, but it says it has strong moving light capabilities, so it might work nice for your project. It looks quite expensive though, unless you found a used one?
I wouldnt think its the channels that are spaced out, its the dimmers that are spaced out...but on a ETC board you can patch dimmers to different channels...
DMX (on a normal system) travels from the back of the board to a dimmer rack (big refrigerator sized unit) the dimmer rack then takes that signal and tells what cell (dimmer) gets turned on and to what percent...Then the power is sent from the dimmer rack to the outlet where you plug your light...
