Preferred brands of microphone cable, microphone storage bag and microphone stands?

The cables are the MK4 series cables http://whirlwindusa.com/catalog/pre-wired-cables/microphone/mk-series These are supposed to be the top cables but they are the most difficult cables to roll as my volunteer has already mentioned.

    Control/Dimming ETC Ion Console Maintence

I had the same issue. Worked with my local lighting vendor and sent it off to ETC they replaced it at no charge(under warranty) and got it back to me quickly. One of the easiest things i have ever done. They also upgraded us to the newest version of the software with the hard drive replacement...

    Audio Organization: Cables

Alpha sound and Lighting has some great velcro ties that i use on all our XLR cables - black fro 25', red for 50', yellow for 100', then i use monoprice velcro ties for the DMX blue - 5 pin, white - 3 pin. Works great and is easy for telling volunteers what you need them to grab from the back room.

    VGA splitter

Kramer usually has some good VGA splitters at a reasonable price at professional quality. However in a pinch i have picked up a simple VGA Splitter from Fry's and it seemed to do the job well.Depending on what inputs your projector and video source have i might would suggest going with HDMI if...

Two synced projection feed with the ability to show alert/message for just one feed

Re: Two synced projection feed with the ability to show alert/message for just one fePro Presenter sounds like it will do what you are wanting. Go to renewed visions website and you can download it for free as a trial version, i believe it gives you all the functionality but just adds a watermark.

    PAR 64 can question

They are very much a "point n shoot" fixture. You wont need a manual for them as they are nothing fancy but they are a great d&d fixture to have in your inventory. I use some in our childrens and youth rooms to add color to the stages. If i need it a little more limited i add barn doors. I have...
