Conventional Fixtures ETC Source Four mini - brightest replacement bulb

Update: I finally found a "100W Equivalent" LED MR16. It is cool white rather than warm. We tested it it and it APPEARS to be brighter. I don't have a meter so I can't verify but the big bosses are happy with the improvement. $6.50 bulb FTW...

Conventional Fixtures ETC Source Four mini - brightest replacement bulb

That looks like a great fixture! Unfortunately we are a small non-profit with a limited budget. Just one of this fixture was more than my budget for the entire project :) We are always asked to do professional work with a consumer budget.

Conventional Fixtures ETC Source Four mini - brightest replacement bulb

I like the beam bender idea...that just might be the answer. Then I can mount it to my 750s and etch the arrow into the ground with the raw power ;)Actually, I might get one and test on my S4 JR...

Thanks! That chart is helpful. I agree about the consistency in metrics. Some use candle power, some use lumens, some lumen specs just seem way off the chart.

Agreed! But it is "too big" of a fixture. Director of programming doesn't like to see the fixture..."circles, circles, it's all circles"

Yes, this would be ideal but it is a historic floor. I'm not even allowed to put gaff tape down! Painter's tape is OK for short durations. We have some "social distancing" markers laid down with a special formula of wheat paste. Many recipes were tested...

Here is a picture (I hope) of the worst case scenario. I have been denied permission to block out the doorway of course. To answer above question, red arrows on the GOBO. Edit: I thought they were red but now appear very white...Thanks for the input!

Thanks! I'll look into this. Maybe I can purchase some "dead" mini LEDs and Frankenstein some hotrod lights.

Conventional Fixtures ETC Source Four mini - brightest replacement bulb

Hi All,I am using S4 minis (12V, 50W Tungsten, not LED) to project directional arrows on the floor of my museum with color print glass GOBOs. Of course, when the sun shines in the windows, the graphics are washed out and staff are unhappy.I have searched high and low for an MR16 LED solution...

Conventional Fixtures Cost Effective (Cheap) LED LEKO for Outdoors?

My boss is going GOBO wild and wants more and more put into our show every year. 90% of them are used outdoors. I am up to 14 Source Four 750s and I'm out of power. We've built "rain bonnets" to help weather proof the electric end of the units and that works well. I'm thinking of getting the...
