Anyone know how to find the IP address of a FLX s24?

It’s worth noting that, unless both Art-Net and Remote are set to “DHCP”, it’s possible that they have different IP addresses.
I have set them both to DHCP, so presumably ArtNet is now broadcasting on the same IP as appears in ZerOS Remote?, but if that were true, I should be able to enter ip into node and it would work, so something‘s not working. Just for information, I have managed to get dot2 onPC to work and control node in minecraft, so that definitely works, so it’s something set up wrong in FLXs

Hi @TheEpicTen

For quicker and easier support, it would be best if you drop us an to [email protected] to troubleshoot further.

If Art-Net and the Remote connection are both set to use DHCP, both of these protocols will use the DHCP address assigned by a router (DHCP server) on the network. Apologies for being a pedant, but for reference FLX S will unicast Art-Net DMX - not broadcast.

It sounds like there's something strange about Minecraft's Art-Net implementation (which is not a sentence I'd thought I'd ever say!). As I mentioned before, there's no reason you should need to manually enter the Art-Net controller's IP address into an Art-Net receiver.
