Allen and heath boards are great... I just love them. You could look into the ZED series or the GL2400, it has 16,24,32,and 40 channel options.
any recommendations?

I do like the A&H GL series consoles - the preamps are great, they are very well laid out, and I really like the EQ and the flexible routing. However, if you can stand to change your ways, digital is really the way to go these days. All of the built-in processing is great and the flexibility is wonderful. But that being said, analog desks are suited better for some applications and some people really prefer to have an analog desk due to multiple inexperienced users and general simplicity of use issues.
