We have 5 Atomic 3000s and none of the fans seem to be turning on when they are used. We had them at a show where the ambient temperature was quite high, possibly even reaching the maximum of 42 Celsius around the fixture. 4/5 of our atomics would stop responding to DMX as they were used, and it would come back as the fixture cooled back down... The light always said it had dmx activity it just wouldn't react. When I got them back in the shop they worked fine, but the fans still never came on.
Does anyone know when the fans are supposed to kick in? I don't really want to send them on another show if they're just going to overheat again.
