Audio transmission interference

I seem to be experiencing some kind of interference in my audio transmission (recording available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zagzme1uaclnyew/Memo.mp3).
I can, and eventually probably will, try to trace the interference to one specific device within my transmission chain. I was just hoping that someone here could help pin-point it.

Here is how it works:

Shotgun Mic -> XLR into Camera (mic+48V)
Camera HD-SDI with embedded audio -> SM Fiber Transmitter
SM Fiber Receiver -> HD-SDI
HD-SDI -> BMD Audio to SDI Mini Converter
BMD Converter -> MM Fiber Transmitter
MM Fiber Receiver -> BMD SDI to Audio Mini Converter
BMD Converter -> PreSonus Mixer

I think the issue happens somewhere between the SM Fiber Receiver and the MM Fiber Transmitter.

Thanks for the help.

Nobody can tell just from listening, especially with a convoluted chain like that. It seems overly complicated to go onto fiber links twice. You need to troubleshoot systematically to find the culprit. Start by connecting the SDI to audio converter and console (or digital audio tester) to the camera output and see if it is clean there. Test again after introducing another portion of the link, etc.
