avalanche? 7b47b

What kind of scale is this performance? are you looking for ideas for something that simulates an avalanche, or would actually dropping things be more your style. We use a double kabuki system to drop a 40'x40' white drop. There are small sand bags in the bottom of the drop so that it falls in a nice avalanche. You might be able to rent the necessary soft goods to make this possible depending on a few things. If this is something you'd like to look into PM me and I'll give you more details.

OBLIGATORY SAFETY NOTE: All of our performers are well aware of when we will be dropping a big 40'x40' from the air, it's fired by a well trained stagehand with a double action safety system, and there is NO WAY that the drop could fall into the audience.

What's your Budget, how proficient is your construction crew, and what's your stage like? There are MANY options but they range from a few bucks to thousands of dollars. You could do video, you could use a couple of giant snow drop boxes.
