A type of front of house lighting position that is located across the face of a balcony in a theatre. It offers the designer a lighting angle that is straight on to the stage, as opposed to a steeper angle found in a cove or catwalk type position. Many times you find video projectors, and video cameras mounted to the balcony rail.
