Computer Spec's for ETC Nomad

Hey guys,

I'm looking to purchase and ETC Nomad, Gadget and a laptop to put it all together with. Are there any recommendations on the laptop? My plan is it would only handle the ETC stuff no extraneous applications. I'd like to have the option to add an external touch screen down the road as well. This would be the primary console for small small rental space.

My suspicion is that anything you can buy new these days will make it.

Win10 laptops will have a touchscreen, though I don't know if their app talks to it.

I myself have been wondering if you can mock up most of an Ion keyboard with an X-Keys XK-80...

Pretty much any modern laptop will do for Nomad. It's build on Qt so any input device that can talk to the OS is probably going to work. I've used Dell touchscreens. Don't bother with a 4K display though.

We re-purposed an ETC Emphasis server. Works fine on old non-updated XP.

We even use a USB xtra video thing to get a 2nd monitor.
