Depends on the output from the controller/
desk/
console and the logistics of the building.
If you have a
dmx desk, no issues. If it's an older
system, it may not run
dmx. Edit: Sorry, didn't see that you said what
desk right in your post.
Depending on where the dimmers for the
stage are, you can just run a cable out from there to each
led fixture in turn, simply
daisy chain from one
LED to the next to the next.
Some
LED fixtures only have 3-pin data ports, so you'll need to check on that before you start ordering cable.
I would also recommend buying (assuming you don't have one) a splitter so that you can make cable runs more efficiently. Some splitters have both 3-pin and 5-pin inputs and outputs, making cable runs even easier.
Finally, each branch of your data
line should end with a
terminator plug in the last
fixture. It's not an absolute requirement. Your lights will USUALLY work without one, but terminators are generally so inexpensive to buy/make that not using them is just silly.
