I was salvaging parts off of old telephones from prop storage, and just had to share this with CB. This is the handset cord on an old Danish made telephone. The stranded wire is whipped by a single wire, folded back on itself, and then whipped down with thread. Amazing!

I'd lose my mind if I had to do that by hand.
