Control/Dimming DMX and the ETC Express 250

I direct musicals at a high school in western PA. Last year we finally received an "upgrade" to our lighting system to a ETC Sensor+ Rack and an ETC Express 250. I would like to start incorporating some DMX capabilities, but I'm not sure how to go about it. We had a local guy that was great with this stuff, but he recently moved away. I don't have much experience with DMX, so I'm a little lost. I can operate the board effectively for what we do here, but would like to expand my knowledge. Any help and advice is much appreciated.
