DVD Playback Systems

We are about to do Into The Woods for the winter musical and they have just realized that they will not have the ability to have a pit orchestra in place. They are looking at using a prerecorded score from a company out west. When it comes it has a DVD Playback system I have been looking into this and trying to see what i will need to run it. all the company will tell me is i Need to channels. I am not sure if i need to get a DVD player to run it or if it runs off a computer. Dose anyone have any experience running a system like this.

Either would work. When they say two channels they simply mean a left and right input.

We have used a system like this for a show last year, cant remember the company name, but it came with its own playback device, just needed two channels, real neat and clean.
It was really easy to use and sounded pretty good.
