ETC L86-EMD64D installed in LMI 24 x 6k rack

Hi,
I'm attempting to address an 24 x 6K LMI Dimmer Rack paired with a 3 L86- EMD64
"CEM" LOL. I would like to give it a specific DMX address...401. Each CEM has a selector wheel that goes from 0-9. HELP.

Michael

Derek has posted the correct manual for that product. The "D" signifies that it is listening to DMX instead of Analog.

You will not be able to set the unit to start at 401. That processor is limited to specific start addresses that are noted on page 2 of the Manual (see screen clip below)

Thank you. The sad reality has numbed me. Huh! This rack is the finest boat anchor I've ever seen.

Is there any way you could use another DMX address? It's really, well, stupid to boat anchor a piece of equpment solely because it doesn't start at a specific number.

Would it surprise you to learn that ETC/LMI L86 dimmers are still being used by at least one company for major PPV sporting events?

thats the same Rack that we use at my venue. It's stubbornly Steadfast in working, and easy to replace the Relays when they go bad.
