Conventional Fixtures ETC S4 Lens Tube. convert 19 > 36 ?

Hey all,

Just wondering if this is possible and economical?

if so, are there any guides/tutorial / write up?

please let me know.

i have few lens tubes that dones't have any glass, so i am trying to "repair/repurpose" them.

I am hoping to make them into 36degree lense tube.

any information would be helpful.

I dont see why not, ETC has diagrams for where the lenses go for each # Looks like you could buy replacement glass for around $60

You'd have to buy 2 to make the 36, and the positions would be the 1st and 4th position from the lamp end of the barrel.

Hey guys thanks for all the information. Derek those videos are awesome !! i have enjoyed them in past.

SMH at 36 degree lense, being the only lense that requires 2 lenses. lol. That would be the case with MY Luck. oh well.

i don't know why but, i am automatically frightened when it comes to optics.

Don't forget to buy the lens pads with your new glass. If the tube is missing glass it's probably also missing the support pads.

Two lenses might suck but they're about half the cost of the single lenses so it balances out?
