Control/Dimming ETC Sensor or Strand Light Rack ?

I'm confused on this. If both circuits 1 and 2 are energized, don't we end up with 208V between pins 1 and 2?

That is exactly what you end up with. The layout is for a 208v breakout as discussed.

Yes, if the outputs are arranged in the "standard" way for 208, if you plug in a 120 breakout, you will get 208 on the 120v outlets. The way the Strand rack arranges things with their non-standard breakout, if you plug in a 120v breakout both pins of the outlet end up being driven from the same phase.

I have suggested to Mike Lay and Mitch Hefter that we might want to start an ESTA project to write a standard for the 120v and 208v pinouts. We'll see what the ESTA EPWG thinks in the November meeting.
