ETCLink is a protocol developed by ETC that allows communication between an ETC Control Console (Obsession, Expression, Express, Emphasis) and a Sensor Dimming System. This communication link allows the console to receive feedback information from the CEMs in the dimmer racks. When using Advanced Feature (AF) dimmers, information like load changes can be monitored.

ETCLink is not a control protocol that can be used to control devices or transmit DMX. When connectors are used (such as on consoles and portable dimmer racks/packs), they are 6pin XLR (gray insert, "Switchraft-style"); not to be confused with a console's RFU port.

Rear of ETC Expression 2X console.
