Hi,
My name is Yaro, I'm originally from Belarus. In my country I was working in a small underground theatre for five years. I was doing all technical job by myself, and absolutely loved it despite all the challenges. Two years ago I moved to the US and went straight to college. Currently I'm getting a BTech in Entertainment Technology from the New York City College of Technology. I love every minute spent at school and am planning to go for a Masters Degree in Lighting Design or Technical Direction in the future.
I accidentally found this community today, while searching the web for the books on technical direction, and immediately decided to join. I didn't find any books, but I found something more important: people, who love technical theatre and share their passion with others. So, I think I'm in a right place
