Hello! I've been lurking for a while, always recommending this site to people, but just now joining. I'm from Louisville, KY, been SMing for 7 years while picking up lighting/sound/props/carpentry/production management skills. I do a little bit of everything...except costumes. So (luckily) my job is a hodge-podge of tech!
I'm TD for middle school productions at a private K-12 school, on a team of three people and a bunch of insane students. We're lucky enough to be able to host concerts as well and I've done lights for Josh Ritter, Rosanne Cash, Lisa Fischer, Rhiannon Giddens, among others...lots of fun! I teach Stagecraft (middle school) and I lead workshops (grades 5-12) after school while we build sets for our school shows. I'm always looking for new things to introduce kids of all ages to in the field of technical theatre!
